Thanks to all the local businesses who helped sell buttons, calendars and raffle tickets and to Downtown Barnes for accommodating our monthly meetings.

The temporary museum is a product of the generosity of many residents, led by historians David Pease and Quentin Ruprecht.  Your hours of research are invaluable and so greatly appreciated.  Kurt Kuhlman contributed his collection of information on the resorts of Barnes and the Malo musky.   Plans for a permanent museum are being discussed.

Our most sincere gratitude to Dave Thorson for writing the book "Barnes, a Breath of Fresh Air" and to the generosity of so many who made the publication of this historic literature possible.

To Dick Collyard and the Town Board, we are so grateful for your cooperation and support.  The Town of Barnes has never looked so beautiful!  We appreciate Jerry Witt and the town crew, Lu Peet and Elaine Brustad for all the extra effort you gave to assist us in making this a most successful event.

Many residents gave many hours of their time and talent serving as committee chairpersons or working on  a committee.  You have been a "Dream Team" and we appreciate each and every one of you so very much!

HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY, BARNES!!!!!!!!!
