The Town Board voted to hold the 4th of July Parade and Fireworks this year.  A flyover is scheduled as well, weather permitting.

Pickleball is happening at the Town Park!  Tuesdays from 3-4:30pm and Thursdays from 10-11:30am(intermediate players).

THE TRANSFER SITE SUMMER HOURS ARE NOW IN EFFECT, OPEN WEDNESDAYS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS, 8am-2pm.   The Brush Pit is open the same days/hours.

THE NEW EMERGENCY SERVICES BUILDING IS COMPLETE!  An Open House will be held when it is safe to do so.  See pictures here.

Barnes Emergency Services sent out letters to property owners in an effort to raise funds for our new Emergency Services Building To date, nearly $69,000 has been donated!  The fund raising goal is $125,000.   You can donate using Paypal. The Town also has a brokerage account so we accept stock donations, contact the clerk for more information.

Tracy Pooler is the Bayfield County Ass't Zoning Administrator -contact him at 715-373-6138 for Planning and Zoning questions.  His office hours have resumed, Tuesdays 10am-noon.
