BAHA

A Historical Collection of Barnes Area
A Historical Collection of Barnes Area

The Barnes Area Historical Association (BAHA) is affiliated with the Wisconsin Historical Association as a Chapter of the Bayfield County Historical Society. We are currently in the process of obtaining our own 501.3(c) number to become an association on our own merit. We will continue to be associated with both the Bayfield County Historical Society and the Wisconsin Historical Society.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join BAHA. You do not need to be a current or former resident of Barnes. Perhaps your ancestors lived in the Town, or perhaps you had friends who lived in the Town. Perhaps you vacationed in the area or just enjoy history and would like to be a part of our organization.

The BAHA monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month at 9:00am at Downtown Barnes on HWY N in Barnes. Our first and foremost project will be planning for our history museum. We invite everyone to join BAHA and participate in this project.
