LAKE ROAD PROJECT UPDATE:  Anticipated start date is August 15, 2017 with completion by June 2018.

REMINDER:  The town requires Fireworks Permits at a cost of $5/day.  Proof of insurance is required at time of application.

UPDATE:  The Vatten Paddlar has been cancelled for 2017.  Efforts are underway to hold the race in July of 2018. 

Sand Bar and Tomahawk Lake Property Owners-you can find the permit applications and maps under "Committees", then choose "Aquatic Invasive Species".

~~NEW TOWN OFFICE HOURS ****CLOSED WEDNESDAYS**** Open 8am-noon M,T,Th,F.  This change has been made permanent.

The Town of Barnes has been awarded a DNR grant for Tomahawk Park.  The grant will include additional ski trails, warming and changing building, additional hiking/biking trails, nature trails, fishing pier, etc.  If you have any ideas for improving the park please contact  Pam Toshner at 715-795-2668.

Tracy Pooler has been hired by Bayfield County as an ass't zoning administrator -contact him at 715-373-6138 for Planning and Zoning questions.  He will begin office hours in July.
