Bayfield County is offering free MEMORY SCREENING in the Town Office on Thursday, November 7 from 10:30am-noon.  No need to register, just come on in!

CENSUS 2020 COMING SOON!   Did you know:  $675 billion in federal funds is distributed to state, county and municipal governments based on population data so it is very important to fill out census data!!!  You can only fill out one census form so only fill out the census where you declare your residency if you have more than one home (your residency as of April 1st, 2020 is what they will be looking for).
Your privacy is protected and in 2020 you will be able to respond to the census online.

CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN ON THE NEW EMERGENCY SERVICES BUILDING!  The floor is poured and wall construction has begun.  Watch the progress here.

Barnes Emergency Services sent out letters to property owners in an effort to raise funds for our new Emergency Services Building and to purchase an extractor washing machine to remove cancer toxins from their gear.  To date, over $25,000 has been donated!

THE TRANSFER SITE IS OPEN WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, 8am-noonTHE BRUSH PIT WILL ONLY BE OPEN WHEN THE TRANSFER SITE IS OPEN.

THE LAKES COMMITTEE'S RECOMMENDATIONS to the Town Board can be found under "Committees", "Lakes".

UPDATE- The A.I.S. Committee needs new members! If interested, double click on heading "committee" on home page. Special Committees form on bottom left to print off or pick one up in the Town Office.
